New here, 2007 Yellow Aveo LS

They do, I've done it with several sets of 07+ Tail lights. My work gave me a ton to play with because they knew I wanted to do this. Just have to be insanely careful and get the right temperature and time or it will mess up. I kinda melted some of them but I got others just fine.

have you done it to an aveo? these are cheap korean taillights, not highline. the tails on my car look plastic bonded (like melted with a plastic weld) not glue or silicone.

I can look into it, haven't been able to do it cause a light cracked because a kid hit it on his bike. I may just VHT Night shade

I'm sure the aftermarket has black housing lights for you if you're dead-set on them.

well you can try with the cracked one when you replace it and let us know...as far as LED gauges, I'm working on that one myself the green isn't just a "film." But welcome to the site

One of these days I planned on attempting on the old tail light when I get a new one.

in the Gauge cluster you have the overlay which has all the speeds and RPM's listed on it. under that is a lit screen. This screen has a green film on it, which explains the green-list numbers and gauges.

These cars too much of a beast to take that apart? I have read all the threads about it but haven't seen many details about that film. I planned on doing this to my bronco but it was a pain to take apart to remove the green. I have rebuilt like 3 camaro ones so I am familiar with the process though.
