You would never even notice that it only has 90 hp if you didn't know. The low end torque of the diesel gives you some more pep where you actually need it for daily driving, low rpms. IMO how they drive is actually nicer for daily driving than a gas engined vehicle that you have to rev up higher to get power out of.
i have a friend who had a diesel jetta too and it sounds nice' yet thanks for explaining wat diesel cars can do i never understood that :X , andd well in my opinion they got it ups and downs diesel cost a lil too expensive nowadayys but u save up on gas which on normal cars like an aveo u need to hit the pedal past 2500 rpm in order to move fluently..yet normal gas is cheaper but if u are the type of person who hits the pedal to the medal it is good still lol.... anyways do u think the low horsepower specs for cars may be somewhat misscalculated?
