Wow, old thread.. here's an idea.. raise the Aveo six inches, instead of lowering it 1.75 inches. Say three inch body lift, three inch suspension lift. And bigger tires like 185/75/R14, more of a 'pickup wannabe'.

Now if I am correct rat rods have double wishbone suspension on the front or something close?

if the front suspension is adjustable coil-overs it would make it easier to tune the car

if the rear suspension has a sway bar this car is fun
