Here's a pic with a red car, same wheels. Oh, and what that badge on your trunk, looks like a decepticon.

I've been looken at those Black and red rims, but not quite sure. I really love chrome for the pop effect.
I will be painting my break drum and clapper red, I already have the paint sitting in my garage.
Oh, thats a German badge on the back of my car. I was German before becoming Canadian. :P

I have new badges for my car (Chevy Xtreme) that are going on soon. These are quite old, but look really cool.

      Re: Red Max

You know i looked at black wheels first since thats what i had on my white truck but then i thought well mabe i want somethin different since my car is red but seeing them with the red pin stripe on 'em... that's looks f'n tight!

i do still kinda think like the guy above... the silver (not particularly chrome, chrome is too flashy for me) like aluminum alloy or somethin is kinda what i'm thinkin. do you think a pinstipe on the silver would show up the way it does there or would i be wasting my time?

      Re: Red Max

i know this may sound dumb but what is the powder coating process? Is that something i can do at home some how or is that something i will have to have done professionally?

Will just simple pinstriping tape and or paint work?

Powder coat you can’t really do at home. Requires electrically charging your parts and then baking the powder paint until it melts.
Painting chrome or aluminum rims is ok if they’re older, but to sand the area and paint new ones I don’t know. (you always need to rough the area you paint)
Stick on pin stripes will work, but you may need to replace them every so often as they come loose.

Yeah, drag rota's are really nice wheels. I like chrome a lot, but they are so much maintenence to keep looking fresh. I have a cosmic silver aveo, so I went with the silver MSR 138's 17" w/ polished lip. It's just enough chrome with the lip and chrome rivets and they chop nicely going down the road.

those rims are sweet! i would even run something like those... I like how the spokes are black, thats the hardest part to clean.
