you can paint newer rims too, just sand them with like 400 grit, and then scuff them with a red 3m scotchbright pad with scuffing paste..

powder coat and real paint are only different in process, the final product is about the same.
(people tend to think powder is harder than paint, and it is compared to most, unless it is properly cured real auto paint)

pinstripe tape will not work very well.

      Very nice, LarsBud!

Are those UltraRacing bars? Do you only have the top one of all four? That's what I'm looking for.... Also, I have another idea for your wheels... I would use these if my car was red... it's just that there is nothing on my car that's red... otherwise they're very lightweight... plus they match your red/black theme... you can get them at discount tires...

ya, the rims would look good too. Have to see how much cash I can get together this spring for my wheels.
I have the upper front and the lower rear bars from Ultra Racing. They really work well.

      Re: Red Max

Wheels, wheels, wheels. This is my debacle this week. Got offered some 15x8 Snowflake reps, but decided against it for now. Then got an offer this morning for some super light 15x7.5 Koseis K1's brand new with Kuhmo tires that have one season on them, which I would love to have for Auto-X this summer. He told me $500, but when I countered at $400 and he delivers them he gave me another offer...The full set of Koseis w/tires and an original set of 83-84 VW 14" Snowflakes in decent condition with 1 season old winter tires for 700 bucks. Decisions, decisions...

I wonder how much I would have to pay for customs to have them shipped to US...

I'm pretty sure you can find a US distributor that can beat their prices.
