My only comment would be that you should paint the drums black and paint your calipers silver. It will change the whole look. Get a can of BBQ spray paint for the drums, and get whatever color you want for the front in one of those high heat paints. The back you spray on with the can, the front you spray on to the lid and brush on a couple coats with a couple small disposable brushes. Should not take more than an hour for everything and cost less than ten bucks but it will make a huge improvement visually.
Yup, yup. Need to post in the Photography Forum
they look good but i think they are just too big :|

Rim Job

Your going to have to lower that car.
yes you will need a spring job now
i like puns
I appreciate all the input guys, awesome comments 8) I think I'm going to go have to try the silver calipers and black drums Bartlett I like the thought of that, great call. And I'll be dropping it this coming weekend Lars and Hunter, I agree it needs it badly. I also want to get a spoiler off another Aveo5 at some point. I'll post some new pics next week once it's "spring job" is completed. Thanks again guys.
i love my spoiler :P
the aveo just aint complete without one
Looks great bro, now black out your lights and bowties. :P That's what I'm doing with my cosmic silver aveo.
Does look good bro! It needs some blue on it somewhere! lol oh and dropping these things are a pain in the arse if your doing it yourself... because of how the front springs are compressed on the struts and coiled around the shock lol
the suspension on the aveo is one of the easiest there is.
the front struts on the 04?
3 bolts out, 1 bolt disassemble. About 15 minutes for removal, exchange and put back in?
i have worked on cars that would take an hour per corner,
I second that had both rears changed in 15 mins fronts about 40, (beer break)Quote:

wonder how the handling is too once it's dropped, and if being lower helps with the mileage at all..
In theory, it should. Since there is much less air going under the car, thus creating less lift. Plus if the drop in the front is larger than the front in the back (like with Eibach and H&R springs), the car should be pressed lower to the ground reducing headwind resistance...Quote:
