I am to I might paint the bases back black or white. The lines are going to the oil catch can and others are coolant lines.
Did you have to modify the LIPS?? Were they difficult to fit?
Its not to difficult. You can either cut it in half and mount it then epoxy the pieces back together or mount it and trim the ends like I did.
"Last photo update" for awhile. Its been fun but im onto other projects and this one doesn't need as much time and money. I like the way it is and how its going to stay for awhile.

Thanks man. Its always changing ive got my bbs wheels done for summer I cant wait.
interesting to say the least, i'm sure you're used to haters judging by your avatar
Lol no I saw that pic and I couldn't stop laughing. No haters man
Ready for summer
The fog lights need to go.
Hell no it gets dark as **** over here in the mountains. But thank for your concern.
Where did you get your light weight pulley from? and your car loos awesome! Love the engine bay and how the colors match up so well! thinking about painting my intake tube as well!
It was a limited run a long time ago. I tried to get them to make more but there wasn't enough interest. thanks BTW
What did you use for that wing on the back. What are those. I love this car!!!
Those are wind generators. They help channel air flow over the back. It helps with the rear drifting all over at higher speeds. Thanks man
Where did you buy them at? They look great is like to put a set on my car
Ebay sells them.
Just Google vortex generator, or even better in my opinion, Air Tab's. Either essentially do the same thing, but it doesn't truly matter if you're just interested in the look.
Hey,
What do you call the bands that are holding the fender and front bumper together? I like the look!
Cheers
They are bumper stays its for taking the bumper on and off quick on track cars
Looks clean, bro.
Thanks man I'll take that compliment I always loved your aveo.
Rupert is now for sale. Its up in the classifieds
Rupert's legacy ends here? I can understand you being bored with it if that is the case, I know my aveo is getting sorta, well, old.
I loved it ma just wasnt big enough for me anymore. I bought a my old Subaru back that I traded in to get my wifes new subie. So its ok. The kid that bought it is moving to New Mexico so no more winters for him. He was super stoked and said he saw a picture of Rupert on here before so its all good.
Attachment 10145old pic of my car lol
Classic 67, if your still checking this forum, for what its worth, yours was my inspiration to make the changes I did. It was a great ride while it lasted! I was in the same mode as you two years ago. I even left the forums. The missus would not let me get rid of my aveo though. Now two years later, I may be going through another redo? Who knows. Good luck to you and thanks for an awesome build!
Look RALLY nice. Lol What kind of mudflaps are those?
