this is my first time building a ported box, 2 cubic feet, big sucker just fits in the hatch..
just have to cut out sub opening, wire it up, caulk the insides, and seal the top .

Not bad for your first build, not bad at all. What size sub are you running? Your port opening inside your box looks a little tight, it might not give you optimum air-flow. Looks good man.
this was optimised for the alpine type R 12" sub. 2.5" inch port , tuned to 32hz

Looks good. Spray your port with black spray paint, it'll look cleaner.

My friend had an older dodge car that had an enormous trunk, He could fit like 6 people in there and still have room to move around. That car was a tank. 8)

there was never even much room for groceries so i always put them in the back seat anyway.
update ordered a hifonics 1208 amp last night.. 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm.. prob doesnt put out that much but plenty for the sub no matter what. also ordered the alpine 9886 headunit

but you dont put a body in a hatchback, the smell gets to the cabin too fast.

No airfreshners I thought I read something somewhere that those tree ones and similar ones are almost as bad as second hand smoke to your health.... but today everything causes cancer and can lead to health problems so who cares.
lol maybe all the trees will kill you, that would suck to die with another body in there already, smell horrible
