swapped HID colours in the aveo

well, id been running 10000k HID's in the aveo for a couple months and decided to make a change.
i didn't like the colour of the HID's at night as i found it really hard to see (vs 4300k or 5000k)
so i had 1 5000k bulb kicking around (bixenon H4/9003) and i still had a pair of 3000k's....so i popped in one of each
the pics i took made the 5000k look blue, but in real life its white white white w/o ANY blue.
haven't really had the chance to try it at night yet...

6000K headlighs with 3000K in my hellas. Plus I adjusted the low/high beams up to where they're supposed to be (they were apparently too low since I installed blacked out headlights, but now that's corrected)

      Here are some pics:

umm.... my fog lights are actually functional and they light the road pretty well IN FRONT OF ME, not UNDER me... And I've never been pulled over for my lights...

So have you gotten yourself an Aveo yet?

      just messing with you.

And no, still comparing the competition. and no, the only Subcompacts I've looked into are the Aveo and the ford fiesta. I won't touch a Honda fit with a 10 foot pole and I've ridden in a Nissan Vera and was actually ed with it. The biggest hold up for me is my other top choice car, the Suzuki SX4 crossover AWD.

Ford Fiesta? It's a bit pricey, don't you think? And it doesn't sound like SX4 AWD gets that great of a MPG.

For me, a Fiesta would be an absolute base model. I haven't looked at them seriously. As for the MPG, My Monte currently gets 17mpg. I'll be happy with anything over 25 mpg that doesn't cause me to seem like a hypocrite with my cynical views. And the SX4 AWD is classed as a crossover, but it really isn't. it's a 5 door hatch version of the SX4 sedan.
