Hunter, you could either get some red couplings or paint the valve cover blue and then both of them would match each other! :D

Cool but really, why red? why couldnt you paint it yellow to match your car better
i like how some valve covers are a deeper red, and i wanted to do something similar and avoid too much yellow, so i want with chevy orange-red, a color they use on engine blocks and such, a bit too bright for what i wanted though
Am i the only one that didnt paint over the words on the cover? Most people that ive seen paint the cover painted it completely
i didnt want to at first, but it is just easier, and looks a lot cleaner i think
Red, you got a picture of what yours looks like?Quote:

I'll shoot some pics and post them in my thread.
Yea its in my build thread. I believe the pic is in the 2nd or 3rd page.
voltmeter came in, fuel pressure should be here soon
sending my extra dash piece to mike for mods
found a place to chromeplate my valve cover
I have a new SRI pipe with filter and a 2007+sedan/2008+hatch radio install kit if anyone wants them
thats it for now
Don't you think chrome valve cover is a little to extreme? I'm not sure though, take some pics when you have that installed. And how much are they charging you for chrome plating it? And wouldn't it get damaged by engine heat/oil spills? :D
thought it would be too much, but i think it will work well for what i have planned, idk about price yet, should last well im guessing
installed the fuel presure gauge in the second ac hole, looks very good and clean
thats about it for a while
You're up there now!

you should rename it to spameroo's vtec
damn, your right, vtec just kicked in YO
My manager got kind of pissed at firestone my second day bc we were under a car and he was asking me what things were under there. I got bored of it quick and started calling things the vtec modulator, the button the vtec is hooked up to, the vtec booster. I heard him walk up to another tech after that and ask "what the hell is a vtec modulator"?
Fixed!

front bar on the way!
Nice... It's an easy install. I'd say the second easiest of the four bars (it would be the easiest if it didn't require jacking I think).
I'm done with all of mine but the rear sway bar... that's in the mail as of yesterday too.
front strut bar came in today!
Looking to install the bar, put in the new gauge bulbs and to hook up the tach Friday
Nice! Take pics - want to see.
Hey hunter where did you get those side pillar gauges n the gauge faceplates! Nice!! =D>
ill have tons of pics on here friday night, the gauge faces is from the autospeed off ebay, i couldnt put in a pillar, though instead i have 2 2 5/6 gauges in my middle ac vents and im debating on sending my extra dash piece to mike to have holes put in for the other three gauges, i just dont have any really good pictures of any of these things
Good or not I'd really like to see them... Get an idea of what your talking about. I like the gauges u have coming off on the left side near the fuse box  :D
Hey Hunter, I'm too lazy to go through 10 pages of your thread, but is this your first suspension upgrade?..
Hey hunteroo have u seen the do it yourself thread for the gauge pillar. Seems complicated but looks likenit might wrk nicely for gauges. If I had time n money I would give it a go
besides the rims and tires, yes
i have not really dont too much with the car in general come to think of it #-o
the bar is a lot more work to put in then i thought, so everything is on hold for another week
i got a pic of my current gauge set up, it looks good, ill put it on later tonight
i realy wanted a gauge pillar, but i dont have a place to make something like this
yea me too. i dnt exactly have a garage nor a backyard. but id like to see you pics. hope to see them up soon. where did you go to get the gauges you have now.
most were bought off ebay, two from rabbit, some used and some new, i put a pic on facebook off my iphone, i just have to transfer it over here
What trouble are you having with the bar installation? It's pretty simple, you don't even have to lift the car if you're running the stock springs (although it would help to get into the wheel well)... There's nothing to uninstall, except for the bracket by the driver's side mounting point, but you can just add an even amount of washers on both sides (I think I used two on each side) and you won't even have to cut anything. That bar took about 10 minutes (my car was already lifted to work on the header, so that made it easier).
i think ill just jack up the car and take off the rim to gain some space, it was raining that day so i didnt want to start tearing things apart
when i went to install the CAI, i had the everything almost taken apart and it started raining
one day next week will be my car day lol
If I let the rain stop me from working on my car (even outside), I would never do anything to my car... That's the beauty of Seattle life...
And you don't need to take the wheel off for neither the CAI nor the bar if you're lifting it. You'll see it as soon as you jack up your car.
