Can anyone beat this?!! LOL...probably the most attractive thing on her is the Spoiler...LOL...But shes my spud! (Imports are rice...My baby is HOME GROWN! *plus I'm irish*) I CAN provide an explanation as to the hideousness of my spud if needed, but basically it got sick-lost my aftermarket fenders to an unforgiving highway (no accidents,) and my custom headlights are toast.

I am working on fixing it...items that will be installed soon:

-H1 Headlights
-Holley Blue electric Fuel Pump (I'll find a way)
-Holley FPR
-AEM Fuel Rail
-AEM Cold Air Intake
-H&R Lowering Springs (1.5 front, 1.4 rear)

I lost my fenders on the highway, lost my speakers (and some other stuff) to the kia dealership when it rescued it from the auction to get it back to me, my hedalights were sprayed (several times over) with paint remover, ruining the plastic lenses. Basically I let it become a statue after I saw everything that happened when I got it back from the Kia Dealership. I mean, here I had done 'alot' of stuff to it (first car I've customized,) and even though I really missed it-I lost both fenders in one day-and it hasn't run the same since I got it back from the dealership.

I will get it looking better again-but I am not going to trade it in again. EVER. LOL...

The paint will be the last thing I remedy, with performance, coming first. I don't plan on swapping engines just yet, but I am working on bringing it up to 200 hp (thats the goal), and swapping the auto tranny for a manual Aveo tranny. I originally wanted to swap it out for my 280Z's L28 and 5 speed, but it hasn't been taken seriously becuase of room issues, front to rear wheel conversions, and other concerns. I have also been working on a Twin turbo setup, and running 3 psi off of each side.

If I do swap engines, it will be with something that has serious power (and that fits)

I traded it in on a kia rio, and they sent it to the auction. In the meantime, I was being hassled into what the dealership was saying was a 'better' deal-but I refused to be forced into it. (They wanted another 6% on my interest rate. I said no.) Finally, after alot of hassle, they bought it back from the auction they sent it to for me and they took their *enter obscenity here* kia back. when I got back in my car at the dealer-there was stuff missing from when the auctioners/dealer had got their hands on it.

my fenders had lost screws that were holding them on during a 125 mile trip. they blew off my car similar to when the space shuttle looses its after-burners when exiting our atmosphere-lol. (that'll teach those tailgaters! j/k)

i've never owned a kia but had one as a rental, i think the aveo is better built..
so you might have made out by keeping it, even though they stole all your stuff.
