What I've done to my 2009 aveo 5

I've plasti dipped both front and back emblems. I also plasti dipped both side mirrors and the trim along both sides. I put a black pair of racing stripes on it. I also cut the exhaust at the catalytic converter and ran it out of the side by the rear driver side door. It sounds better than any other small car I've ever heard...not like the whine of a straight pipe.Name: image.jpg

Why new plugs/wires? Can that be done with basic car knowledge and tools? What about light weight pulls..what is that..and what is a trifecta tune

its pretty hard to put bigger wires on an 09 aveo when it does not have any..

trifecta remaps your ecu. exhaust is a good upgrade, not necessarily bigger, but made to flow better.

The trifecta site doesn't have aveo listed under the supported cars tab

Please check out the site. We, 09-11 aveos, share alot of engine parts with the sonic/ cruze 1.8 ecotec. These motors origins come from GMs european makes- opel n vauxhall. Read around and u could pick up some good info. Perhaps check out one of those engine basic books to pick up some general knowledge. Look at ur motor, that thing that says ecotec slides off revealing ur coil on plug design. This eliminates your spark plug wires . Under that "bridge" is ur spark plugs. Lightweight pulleys are made to put less parasitic drag on your motor, thus freeing up a few hp. Enthusiasm ofr ur vehicle is a good thing but take 1step at a time that way you can see the result of each mod and how ur car responds to tbat mod.
