Holy crap! We just got like 30 cm's (about 1 foot) of snow in the past 2 days...

Hilarious! Wish I had that much snow here. My car gets highsided if I don't reverse into my driveway with some speed because of the plow row buildup. All my roommates have 4wd trucks.. Some studded tires and I think your ride would be a heck of a lot of fun.
Wow Nemasys, how long did it take you to get that out? We are going to be in the upper 30's or better here all week this week, finally some melt!

We have been in the 50s and 60s all week. but, as always here, that is going to end this weekend. lol
Well we got some very very mild weather (way above seasonal and above freezing) so i took pretty much all the snow off the car, and made a trail to access to engine bay, i wanted to see the condition of the turbo after sitting for 7-8 months...
That thing spins like its lying in an oil bath lol i was very pleased about that, i put my battery on charge, i think ill try to start it today, even tho it has a blown head gasket, i wanna make it run a min or two just to get the oil flowing in the head.
That's probably a good idea.
Good news, to my great surprise the car started up, even with a blown gasket and sitting for 8 months, plus my Megasquirt isnt programmed for cold starts like this so i wasnt expecting it to fire up but it did!
I recorded the action, its now uploading to youtube, stay tuned :)
That was a lot of cranking. Glad it turned over though, sounds great.
