      To put it in words everyone understands....EGR creates lack of oxygen in the engine, forces you to give more throttle angle, resulting in less vacuum in the manifold, therefore less resistance for the engine to turn, giving you better gas mileage.

      No, because as soon as you floor it the EGR is disabled.

      Ok, thank you for clarification. Keeping the EGR the way it is... still thinking about going cat-less with a test pipe though... I would love to have xiaogary's header, but don't have 300+ right now to get one.... Does anyone stateside have one that they don't want anymore and wanna sell it for $200? If not, I'll just have to either settle for the cat removal or wait for the money for the header...
