I'm currently looking into another shipping option. Instead of quoting everyone's shipping individually, I believe I can use the USPS flat rate envelope to ship these. In that case, shipping will be $5 to anyone in the US.

Not yet. I'll probably look at it this weekend. I don't think I'll have time during the week.
One other thing to remember, and I mention this mostly for Tidus, is that this pulley will lower alternator output. This won't be a problem for most of us, but for those of you with large sound systems, its possible you could run into power issues while idling. As long as you're cruising at higher rpms it won't be an issue.
I definitely don't want to discourage anyone from buying, but I do want you to know what you are getting and how it will affect things.
and you'll make a larger alternator pulley to compensate.. :P

idk i never checked my power rating. Its only a 800 watt amp. but i usually have my music on with base while im driving to work.
I don't think u going to have problems with this pulley. I have run high output systems on stock alternators and never had problems, even tho other people said I needed to upgrade. Well, U will find out when u install it...:D
I also don't think it'll be a problem in normal driving either. I mentioned it more so for Tidus since I know he competes. However, if he revs the engine that will compensate.
I know the Aveo has Road noise, but 800 watts! GRIN. Way to go! That is one thing I love about the Aveo, it's so cheap at least you don't feel guilty with upgrades.Quote:

Flat rate is a great idea! I know there is a box that will ship them for under $10 without looking. I have never had reason to use the smaller boxes so I can't help with those.
