When is the latest we can pay? I just spend a ton of money this week fixing my central air unit. so, I'm broke until my next pay or I sell something on Ebay. BTW, Anyone interested on a great pair of used DENTURES? O:)

So I couldn't find my GooGone... just used some Sherwin Williams Paint Thinner and it came off fine. Turns out they were dirtier then I thought, now they are clean as new. Thanks for the input everyone.

Ok Daox, sorry for the delay! Havent been on in a while but you can mark me as paid! Money sent! Also too did we narrow down exactly what serpentine belt is needed for this pulley?

3 more to go now. As I mentioned I emailed everyone the other day. I think I'm going to send another email and PM out to all the unpaid again today or tomorrow. I think a deadline of next week Wednesday is fair enough although I'm flexible if someone has a good excuse. Of the unpaid I know one is planning on paying, but I haven't heard from the other two at all. If they don't pay by Wednesday they don't get a pulley. Sound good to everyone?

lol i want my pulley too. So are the pulleys made already or are they going to produce it after they have everyones money and find out how many they need to make?

The pulleys will be ordered after the money is in or the deadline is reached. Manufacturing will take 2-3 weeks, and then they will need to be shipped. This is why I am not going to wait much longer.

Whatever you gys decide is fine with me too. I'd like my pulley also but have no problems if other members need some more time to get the money together. it s tough economy out there and we're all trying to get bills paid and survive.

I dont mind waiting i was just wondering on the timing because i plan on doin my timing belt at 60k so less work doing this at the same time.

If you guys want to wait that is fine. I've heard from AveoSS and hes just low on cash as he mentioned here. The other two I don't have any idea.

Up to you. You should have most of everyones money so if you want you could just wait for AveoSS and then submit it to get them made

Well, it really is more so up to you guys. I can wait forever. It depends on how quickly you guys want to get them.
timmy taxi did email me back yesterday. Apparently he is traveling and probably won't get one unless we wait a while. Still waiting to hear back from him on how long that might be.

1) Do you have enough money to buy the pulleys at the original quoted price? 2) If AveoSS can be part of this purchase within the week, I say yes. Otherwise it's time to get going.
The nice thing about this purchase it allows an iterative approach to the design and improvement to the pulley. My group will take a bigger risk with initial fit and use testing. The next group can wait for improvements on the next round of buying. As the group gains more members interest will generate for a new group buy. Hopefully with my input and others the next set of pulleys will be better.

Yes, we will have enough to keep the price down. We're actually ordering a few more to get the price that we got. These will be available on the forum and ebay for a higher price.

The pulleys have officially been ordered! The delivery date is 12/8. Now, for something new... lets wait. :)

Oh ok thanks... when you recieve yours can you update which sepentine belt is the one we are going to need? Ima end up changing my pulley when i do my timing belt in 5k more miles so I wanna buy everything at once

Well, I got in late last night, but I snapped some pics before I left for work this morning. Here they are! I haven't looked through and measured them up yet, but they look very nice.

I'll be test fitting the pulley tonight. This will let us know if we need a new belt, and I'll also write up some installation instructions.

Well, some things came up and I didn't get a chance to do the install. It'll have to wait a couple days as I need the car for work and don't know if I'll have enough time at night to do it.
