Buy a turbo manifold for a b16/18, cut off the flange that goes to the engine. go to a machine shop and have them make a flange out of 1/2'' thick steel, in the size of the stock exhaust manifolds header. weld that (or have the machine shop weld that) onto the honda turbo manifold.
BOOOM bolt that on and you have a turbo( $300 if you shop around). now to make it functional....
Bigger injectors
Oil lines
Intercooler
intercooler piping
some form of fuel management.
And 100's+ little peices to make it work correctly
then your still saftley only getting like 150hp
In reality an engine swap with a full harness will likely be around the same price, with alot better result.
1st gen mazda6 3.0- 220hp, very compact
chevy cobalt- SS, turbo or supercharged, over 200hp. the 2.2 will fit aslo and give over 150
Cadillac Catera 3.0 v6 200hp havent measured this one, looks ok in size
Cruze/sonic 1.4t & 1.8, both fit, the 1.4t with some tuning and bolt ons, bigger intercooler i see at 170ish online
Suzuki Aerio 2.3l makes 155. measured a friends and it will clear
Any honda engine, they have tons of aftermarket available and are easy to find.
Pontiac grand prix gtp, buick gs 3800 v6 3.8 supercharged engines would be great, have not measued these, make between 240-260hp
Just gotta fab mounts, spend time to wire the harnesses, make the accessories work. alot more payout for you
