      The ScanGaugeII is an extremely compact automotive computer designed to read and display information about your vehicle in real time.

      Does it only work for one car? or can u unplug it and use it in another car?

      It plugs into any car. However, if you set it up for one car (plug in engine size, gas tank volume, etc) you have to set it up again for the other car.

      it doesnt receive that automatically?

      i have some similar on my iphone, costs about the same to, but also has more realtime sensor readings etc..

      Nope, you have to manually set a few things, not many. Engine size, gas tank size, price of gas... I think thats about it. If you have any special x-gauges you want you can program those in too (example: short/long term fuel trims).

      would this work on a UK model? it should as we work on OBDII as well but i thought i better check. if it does it could be a very handy bit of kit, at the workshop im in we have the chevy scan tool but i cant take it home and it has quite rubish real time readouts compared to what yours does.

      I don't see why not, anything OBDII compliant should work with it. I know of a few guys overseas that use them in their cars.
