As an FYI, I did very well for a few years selling a kit that would allow the use of an old Subaru XT/Loyal or whatever turbo to be mounted up on an older style Subaru Impreza. When the WRX came out, I changed the flanges so it could use the WRX turbo. That's when the kit took off and I was selling on average about 3 pipes a week for about a year straight. Before and after that I was still doing 1 or 2 pipes a week.

That said, used turbos can be had cheap, it's a matter of finding one that works with the application. The advantage of a WRX turbo is it's designed for 220hp whereas the older turbo you have is designed for 110hp. There is also an easy upgrade path with using a subaru turbo since there are so many WRX's out on the road now. Not to mention, it's newer, you are using a Probe/MX6 turbo from the 90's.

Please don't take this as knocking your kit, I'm not. I'm just suggesting you use a newer turbo which is still VERY easy to find for cheap and has a great upgrade path. I even have flanges for both the WRX turbo and the Loyal turbo if you are interested.
