ok just done a quick search for bolt on T3 turbos (thx btw) and a few sites are saying how they have different bolt patterns for different turbos. is there a certain one that you are making flanges for or will you be making ones for the more popular or making as a demand? (ie joe has a civic T3, bob has a toyota T3 etc)
hope i havent confused it all with my questions
Normally any T3 turbo will have the same flange. That is what makes it a T3. I think you are looking at the o2 housing flange because those are different from car to car.
Aveotuner,
My guess is that you are talking about the Mazda 626. As far as I know, they are the same turbos.
AveoTuner - The 626, MX6, and Probe 1988-1992 all used the same IHI turbo... looks like this...
Smaller sized turbo, but I am sure it will more than do the job for a basic aveo kit... These turbos also came on the Subaru XT and Subaru Loyal, but the flanges are different.
Aussie, like aveodude said, all T3s are going to have the same hot-side flange, but it's the size of the turbo that varies... a T3 from a Mustang SVO is currently the largest junkard T3 I believe...

Is that a T4 flange welded onto there?
That particular one does. Mine does not... I just searched Google for a pic of the turbo and those are the clearest pics I could find. Can take pics of the actual two turbos I have when I get home after work...

You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
I'm a nubbie in general if you could make those info's into a post. I'd be very appreciate. I'd love to get a stage 2 but I was thinking that is it possible if I get a stage 1 and upgrade it into stage 2 later on? And, also that if I'm interested in getting one of these kits what else do I have to worry about? (stuff like how do I put it together or I have to go to a shop for it?) How much of a different in performance between stage 1 and stage 2? Ofcourse, stage 2 should be better right? I'm kinda debating that whether getting a stage 1 first then upgrade to stage 2 or just save up for a stage 2.Originally Posted by g0ast
