I had been thinking about it for a while, we just came up with a design. Got a friend that is a machinist (I work for a machine shop) and we are working on some designs... Just coincidence we figured out a design around the same time you posted that. But for different turbos so no competition...

And I don't think you are going to "rape the scene" literally, just that most Aveo owners cannot possibly afford a $3000 turbo kit. I am making literally no profit on this, just doing it to better the community. Like I said I make my money through DLSpeed and my day job, my best friend just showed me the site and with the little support the Aveo has I want to help...

I am an ASE certified tech and specialize in acura V6 motors and have done alot of custom work in regards to this. However the person who is a close friend wants to make a turbo kit for the aveo. I was directed to this thread not to sway people from buying a turbo kit but to bring up some very obvious questions..

      1) why are you mocking up using two old turbos that you have to make adapter flanges for anyways VS buy a cheap T3 flanged one brand new?
      2) as of right now you have free turbos and the only pic is not of YOU making anything..
      3) have you thought about what style manifold you are making?
      4) what about fitment issues(radiator fan etc)
      5) what about tuning....no megasquirt or FAST is made yet for this application.

      Thanks.

Thread edited. We don't want any thread hijacking here. If you want to become a vendor, get approved. Until then don't advertise within my threads...
I am mocking up old turbos because they are cheap and easy to find, and because most people I have talked to only want 5psi to shut up the local ricers. Therefore, there is no need to have a T28 or T3 in the opening kit, because it will be overkill for the engine.

We have everything ready to go, just no pics yet because I am waiting on my friend to bring his Aveo down to do the test fitment (or someone else on here).

The kit is designed so nothing has to be removed or relocated. Otherwise I would include the extra parts in the kit.

Megasquirt doesn't come with an application. it comes to me as a bag of parts and I assemble and program it myself. One of my friend's owns a dynojet, so we will be tuning it there and then including a base program to modify from.

      okay

With all due respect a T25/T28 is perfect for this application and if you get an external wastegate you will be golden. YOu still didnt answer half the questions I asked and the two pics you did end up showing, pardon my french, look like absolute ****. The weld beads look like crap and the flange may warp due to it not being think enough. If i were a betting man i would almost think you are going to connect it straight to the stock manifold?

I also like the fact that you edited my other threads to protect your own kit. Very nice. lol

      Well good luck.

      this unediting crap sucks..

Also I do not have an aveo either however with proper knowledge, math, and measurements i am premaking the turbo manifold first then we will be bolting it to the aveo to then mock up the rest of the piping. problem solved. And it will be 100% true fitment.

+1 for a t25 with internal wastegate to keep the price down and size proper.

      wow you guys.....
what the hell is happening on this forum? Y'all need to take a chill pill.

I am going to say thank you to all who are going out there and trying to make more happen for the aveo. Whether the ideas work or not- at least you are trying to do something, unlike those who want to hate on you and sit with their thumbs up their asses whining about how there is no aftermarket for the aveo.
Good job to you who are actually doing something- you got my respect.
Those who want to stay annonymous- stay annonymous- but don't come on here trying to throw weight around when we see nothing to back whatever is spewing out your mouth. You got ideas? great, try em out. You want suggestions, advice, feedback- don't hesitaqte to ask. We are here for the same reason- to support the aveo community. But if you are here to badmouth or be-little anyone who is trying to make something happen- shut it.

      I think I'm done now.
      Have a nice day.

^I can't agree with you more. The only reason i was asked to come here was to protect you the buyer. YOu see what happens when a few of you pitch in for a half-cocked turbo kit and the kit bit in the ass...would you buy my kit...probably not. Now i am not saying this kit sucks, just saying i would like to see a more finished and properly done kit anyways the same as you. I think its not asking to much for more pics etc right?

AS on my end i may have a pic up in a week if the member lets me release it. cheers!

Bro, stop spamming your kit in the middle of my thread. I told you, the pics I posted were from google, showing what the TURBO looks like. I do not have a T4 flange welded to mine, that is not my turbo, just an example cause the guy wanted to know if his turbo was the same design as mine.

And the post above yours was directed at you. You have 4 posts and you come on here spamming about your kit and how crappy mine is becuase I posted some pics from Google... Not cool at all...
