      I am a real person. If i was SELLING my kit such as you...then yes i would include full pics with full specs.

      You pointed out exactly what i was getting at! If anything you are "spaming"...you have no pics or evidence at ALL that you are actually making this. If anything you just ripped off another member two free turbos!

      Think about it. YOu already have your kit priced but yet not created??wtf!

      The members kit i am making is a longtime member and he is reviewed what i have wrote(except you edit it) and thinks you and the others are handling this the wrong way. I dont care if you do make a kit as competition to ours. What I dont want is you to make a $500 kit and sell it for $1900 to some poor sap that cant even figure out how to install it cuz its so crappy.

      Thats it. I will post up on the...29th one pic in a new thread. latta

      Spam is not just a bot, spam is going into other threads and plugging your own product.

      I am not SELLING my kit yet. This was simply a feeler to see what people thought of pricing. The turbos are from my best friend who had them sitting around and we have been working on a kit for a while, just now got the time to put it into effect.

      My prices include NO profit like I said. I am making these at cost, and then adding like a 10% gratuity and selling them at that.

      And you shouldn't have to hide your identity on here unless you have something to hide...

      As an FYI, I did very well for a few years selling a kit that would allow the use of an old Subaru XT/Loyal or whatever turbo to be mounted up on an older style Subaru Impreza. When the WRX came out, I changed the flanges so it could use the WRX turbo. That's when the kit took off and I was selling on average about 3 pipes a week for about a year straight. Before and after that I was still doing 1 or 2 pipes a week.

      That said, used turbos can be had cheap, it's a matter of finding one that works with the application. The advantage of a WRX turbo is it's designed for 220hp whereas the older turbo you have is designed for 110hp. There is also an easy upgrade path with using a subaru turbo since there are so many WRX's out on the road now. Not to mention, it's newer, you are using a Probe/MX6 turbo from the 90's.

      Please don't take this as knocking your kit, I'm not. I'm just suggesting you use a newer turbo which is still VERY easy to find for cheap and has a great upgrade path. I even have flanges for both the WRX turbo and the Loyal turbo if you are interested.

      hey spec-r- tell your buddy that we are not the ones handling this wrong. you want to come here talking about how to do it right and giving proof of what you are doing, but YOU cant untill the 29th? then dont talk untill you have something to back your words. xtreme 2 is getting the ideas together- he isnt selling em yet, and i dont think he would until he had a good setup to sell. why cant people just leave well enough alone? And tell your buddy thanks for the anonnymity- way to support the aveo community.

      well said BoxKiller...

      So I purchased a full 1.6L engine today for $200... Well total it's a full engine, it's in pieces but total for $200 I figured alright... Should be in sometime next week. I can then get the turbo flange sized up and a rough set-up made. Won't know the exact look until we get it in a car, but it will help greatly.

      Not sure at the moment. Like I said I have most of the parts available, as soon as the engine comes I will be able to get the piping and get Stage 1 designed, then make a rough call for Stage 2.

      Trying to get Dan or MikeDudley down here for testing once the prototype is done. Mike says it's possible after he gets his tax refund, Dan just needs to be able to get off work, plus he's still popping a CEL after his resistor mod (lol) so iffy about making the drive. Gonna try to get a new Oxygen Sensor for him to see if that solves it, then hopefully we can get something going.

      im getting excited lol .... just the thought of a turbo in a barina sounds devilish.... if there is anything i can do to help (probably not much coz of the whole distance thing) let me kno.
