turbos are the best way to get better gas mileage. a lot of car companies are starting to use smaller engines with turbos in order to keep power up and gas mileage up.
That's not how turbos work... They work by getting more horsepower out of your car without decreasing gas mileage using the same engine. It doesnt have anything to do with how much gas is used.

A turbo Aveo would still get the same MPG even with a turbo, it would just have more power.
That is not really the case at all. Because you will be putting more air into the engine, you will have to put more fuel. More instances than not, you will lose mileage

if it wasn't for the CA imissions i wounder if you relly need the CAT on there?
if your using the 89 probe/mx6 they come stock on those cars at about 13psi...or atleast thats what my probe pushed when i had it
The probe turbo with stock wastegate runs around 7 psi. With aftermarkets it can run an upwards up 15psi before messing up...

The Stage 1 kit is designed to fit complete in the stock front end with no modification. Designed for the ability to have your car turbo'd for a year, then take it out and give the car back to Chevy when your lease is up (assuming you have one) and they would never know you had it on there.

The kit uses the car's FACTORY manifold that is already on your car, and it is designed to be installed by yourself in about 6 hours.

As far as exhaust, you would obviously want an aftermarket exhaust due to the restrictions of the stock exhaust, but the kit will end up exactly where the stock downpipe ended at the cat. I am not sure why Aveo_Tuner keeps telling people the stock exhaust won't work, because it will bolt up correctly when I am finished.

and oh yea, most people with a Turbo remove the cat and put in a test/straight pipe instead... better flowing and with the turbo backpressure there is no difference in sound

you'll throw a CEL if you remove the cat and don't do this mod:

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

Any car with two oxygen sensor probably will. the second oxygen sensor is usually there to monitor the cat.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

      Functionality
      Quality
      Price
      Sound
Looks - I like sleepers. Closer to stock appearance the better.

ok im trying to figure out how yours gonna have it fit on the stock header then have the dp come out exactly where it needs to be to meet the exahust....im assuming the dp doesnt go straight down but curves back inline
