      Aveo LS in Oklahoma

Hi I just got an 2008 Chevy Aveo LS. Here some pics. I got 20% tint, K&N Drop-In Filter, Gunmetal hubcaps, Royal Purple Motor Oil, E3 spark plugs, and waiting for my DDM Tuning 5000k HID to come in. Future mods: 16" rims, 12" or 10" sub, Eibach Pro Kit springs, and custom Skunk2 exhaust. Tell me wht u think and wht I should do

Hubcaps look good, nice car man. What style of modding are you into? All chromed out, all blacked out, performance driven look, Carbon fiber?

more of a performance driven look. trying to give it a sporty look/street racer look. I can't wait to install the 5000k HID in it!

Ok, well first you're gonna need 18" rims, a huge rediculous spoiler, a 6" exhaust tip and JDM and performance stickers all over it for parts you don't have...just kidding. Just go subtle with it, some Enkei 16's or 17's, maybe some LED taillights, 1.5" H&R lowering springs, cold air intake.

I'm not going to the ricer look!! lol. yeah im planning on 16" rims, lowering springs, put a sub in the trunk, and a custom Skunk2 exhaust. I'm waiting for the 5000k HID I order to come in to install them.

"Joey mod" the headlights... Having no extra reflectors with your HID's will look better than just putting them into fully chrome stock headlights.

Is your car A/T or 5-speed? The reason I ask is because if you run HID's you'll want to disable your DRL's(Daytime Running Light), or else they will under-power your ballasts and short your bulbs over time...not right away, but after a few months. Anyways, the reason I ask about your trans is because if yours is a 5-speed the DRL fuse is in the driver's side dash fuse panel labeled "N/A DRL". If you have an automatic, well...things are gonna get more complicated. I don't think anyone has figured out how to disable them on the 07-10 Sedans A/T yet.

my car is an auto and i found out how to disable the DRL's. I have to take out the fuse on the drivers side fuse box for the DRL's. Thanks for the reminder. almost forget I got to do that lol

Are you sure that's all you have to do to disable them? Have you tried? I could've swore we had a few members that couldn't disable their DRL's because of a Neutral Safety Switch in the A/T or something.
