Just picked up a used 2006 5door LS today. I will get some pics soon. Being where I live the pics will be of not only the car but my area.
If anyone has any thing I need to be on the look out for with my new car I appreciate all feedback.
It is, as stated, a 2006 LS hatchback. 60k miles and in very clean condition. This is a picture from the dealer's website. i have already removed the black air deflector as it was broken and ready to start damaging the paint. I will get more pics this weekend.

Auto or manual? (I ask everybody)
The main thing people will advise you to look for is the timing belt. Find out (make sure!) if it's been changed. You're close to the "best before" date if it's original.
Broken timing belts are fairly common on that engine at around that mileage - and it's an interference design ( = lots of excitement and expense if the belt breaks).
5 speed tranny. Still need to check on the belt. I may have to actually inspect it to make sure. Not much for maintainance records came with it.

Yeah, one of those newfangled plastic ones..... Soon as funds are available, the cheap caps and possible rims get replaced.hey zurn!
