The main thing people will advise you to look for is the timing belt. Find out (make sure!) if it's been changed. You're close to the "best before" date if it's original.

Broken timing belts are fairly common on that engine at around that mileage - and it's an interference design ( = lots of excitement and expense if the belt breaks).
