Hello. Thinking of buying a Wave

Hello all. I found a 2005 Wave with 130,000kms on it.
Really thinking of buying it. The person said the timing belt had been changed once and will need another before 60,000kms. But doesn’t know if the plastics pulleys were changed.
Just wondering what else to look for and what else are problem issues on these cars. The car is for my 17 year old son, so I’d like it to be safe and reliable.

Just figure on changing all of it including the water pump immediately if/when you buy it. Otherwise I’m sure you will find a few hundreds dollars worth of wearable items you will want to address because of the age of the car. All in all they are good little cars, they just don’t like to be neglected.
