Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
Hey guys, thanks to Tim for pointing me towards this forum. I am the owner of Throwdown Performance, my name is Mark, and I just wanted to say hello. We don't have many Aveo parts currently listed, but would be happy to list more if there is interest. One of our rarities that we recently actually sold some parts for is the Ultra Racing chassis bars for the Aveo.
Best of luck with the forum and hopefully I can lend some assistance while things get back up!

Thanks - appreciate it whoever invited me to the site.
Is the forum more enthusiast based or are many of you modifying your aveos? Was it anyone here who inquired about Ultra Racing parts a few weeks back?

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
Hey throwdownperformance.. I have a question about that chassis bar you mentioned. Do you know if that bar fits the sedan model of the aveo aswell? or does it only fit the hatchback?

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
Hello Mark. This is Tim. Thanks for stopping by.
We do have some people modifying Aveos here. However, we're still getting things rolling here after the clean up, so we can't give any accurate numbers as of yet.

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
Awesome to have someone interested in helping with modifications..
Do you own an aveo yourself?

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
My observations on Aveo owners.
Generally, they want a cheap A to point B car.
Many fewer look for forums or aftermarket parts for their cars.
Most of the people interested in modifications on these cars, can't afford them.
I have seen a few in my area that have been modded, and a few more that have gone with aftermarket wheels.
For reference, mine:

If you have parts available, post them up to get some advertising.
If our admin allows it. Not sure how the new group is working this.
Welcome to our world

I'll have to check on that one... I'd imagine most of the parts should work.

Thanks, no actually I am not an aveo owner myself. I come from a Chevy background tho. Built, smashed, rebuilt, some camaros etc in the past. Still need to get that vette... but lol, I'll keep dreaming on that one for now. I gotta say, I'm impressed on a lot of the modifications to them I've seen. There's something about building a small, inexpensive car to handle better, make it a bit quicker, etc. that is certainly fun.
This is a bit of a new market for us, but we're happy to support the new launch of the forum. We are arguably the largest seller for the new Accord parts, so that's been a lot of our focus but we are looking to expand.
Any parts you are looking for and don't see, let us know and we'll get them listed or love to dive into options for you!

I figured as much to all of your points above as it is a general point a to point b car. But I'll still be glad to help however I can!

Thanks. I know everything for the front end will fit both models but when you go from mid section to rear is where I don't know if there are any differences.

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
No differences in suspension just body and trunk space.

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC

Yes, it was me. And thank you for the quote. I'm in the process of getting some other things straightened out, but I'm still looking to buy the set of all four bars for the Aveo. Also, the price that you gave me - that's the final price to have them delivered to my door, right? There is no customs or anything else I would have to pay? Are there other charges or do you guys take care of all that? And who do you use for shipping?
Thanks ahead.

All bars are shipped UPS due to their size. Where are you located? We can discuss by PM if you'd like. All prices are shipped within the US (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). We calculate shipping individually on international orders as it is a bit more accurate handled individually than through the system. Also we like to tell our international customers about the duties. Duties are out of our control as they are based on your local laws/taxes.
Thanks!

Re: Hello from Throwdown Performance, LLC
Mark,
I just placed an order for a BLOX Racing CEL Eliminator Adaptor, but it also charged me for shipping even though it said free shipping withing US... Either way, it's only three bucks, but more than free as advertised.
Looking forward to get the extender...
