I own a 2006 Suzuki Swift+ 5spd manual - the Daewoo Kalos/Chevy Aveo/Pontiac Wave body style. It has 100K kms, 40K on regular oil, ever since runs on synthetic oil, and has run on logging and fire roads occasionally. The car is stock base model with no ac.
Looking forward to asking questions about this car as it is so much fun to drive, and I am interested in modest improvements as well as weight reducing measures. Best mod I did was removing the rear seat.

Ya I got a roof rack for my windsurfer, and snowboard, but I've used it to carry tons of stuff using ratchet straps. I know people are gonna laugh at me but I am going to put a hitch on my car and try out a light aluminum trailer setup. Perhaps this year we'll see.. I got other stuff to do first like fixing the body back to 95%, installing the under-drive pulley and CAI.
Your car looks really sweet - I bet if you don't goose it you can get some pretty good mileage numbers. Mileage with the roof rack goes down by as much as 12%!
