Hello. I purchased a 2004 Chevy Aveo Sedan last July at a junk yard of all places...for 500$. It had 109,800 miles approximately. I did drive it around the yard lot and it did fine. Noticed a small ticking in the motor...turns out its just a stuck lifter..no biggie. I also found out the previous owner ran the driver side into a hillside..so its banged up. The doors/windows/locks and everything on the doors still work. I have done some work to the car to get it fixed back up but still have more work to do.I have had it almost a year and its now at 113k miles.Once I figure out how to post pics I will put some up.

Nice, check the timing belt out yet? You can not beat a running car for $500.

haha so true..actually the waterpump went out 3 days ago lol...so naturaly had to take out the belt. it looks decent its not cracked or frayed and still really tight.My car is a work in proggress and as soon as i figure out how to reduce picture size without distorting the picture ill upload some.
