      Helloooo

Just joined a day ago and I must say that I'm addicted already. I purchased my 06 Aveo LS (Hatchback) in Nov 2011 and loved it, until I wanted something bigger. I tend to go back and forth with my Aveo, but have decided to keep it and deck it out.

I'll be asking for advice from my fellow Aveonatics. Thanks in Advance!

Welcome to the site Geo. What kind of things are you decking the Aveo out with?

Thanks Doax! I plan on installing new head and tailights, new seating, Rims. Id love a new engine, but I'm sure that's very costly. Also, I want to add custom turn signals because I am not a fan of the orange stock ones. Would you happen to know where I can find those?

I'm not a huge fan of visual modifications, so I can't really tell you where to pickup any of that stuff. I'd ask in the exterior forum though.

I'd recommend doing some suspension and handling modifications. For a relatively small amount of money you can drastically change how the car feels and it makes it much more fun to drive. A set of springs and a rear sway bar would make it a totally different car and it would only cost a few hundred dollars.

IMO its not difficult to do either install. However, you will need some tools.

Thankfully, we have some members who did some write ups of their installs. You can check them out here:

The strut mount article shows how to replace the strut mounts, but all you have to do is replace the springs and reinstall things.

AwesomeCity! Thanks! I'll post pics up when done. Hopefully I can catch a nice day and not freeze to death while installing them
