HELP PLEASE 2011 Aveo 5 1.6L hatchback

I bought my Aveo about 3 months ago and right not it will crank but not fire

I recently the check engine light had blinked and came on and over the course of two weeks it would go on and off and on Thursday the check engine light went off and didn't come back on at all the for the end of Thursday or Friday and on Friday I was on the interstate and I heard a higher pitched click when I would push the gas so I was looking for a place to pull over and while doing so it died on me doing around 45mph. the check engine light was a cylinder 2 misfire I swapped the cylinder 2 and 3 spark plugs and still cylinder 2 misfire I didn't have the money for a coil pack but it has a new one on it now. after it died I pulled over and it would crank but not fire. I got it towed home and was doing some exploratory surgery with my dad and found that the variable timing gear dots were not aligned correctly so we fixed that and tried starting it and still no luck. I'm in a bind because I have class on Monday ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!! I will answer all the questions I can

i believe you need to align your cams from the rear, not the front. The phasers are not what you align for interference.

in the second image it looks like they are off but the right cam gear is lower than the left
i aligned it with the metal plate that goes on the back of the cam shafts
it sounds like its trying to fire but still won't no codes picked up by code reader
ive changed the timing belt, tensioner, pully, water pump, spark plugs, coil packs
could it be a cam or crank sensor and if so is there a way to test it?
if not what should i do next?

With no codes thrown I think your cam and crank sensor are fine.
This is a guess, but maybe your fuel pump or relay died? Do you have fuel pressure? Can you hear the pump energize? No fuel gives no codes….just a guess.
