What's the story behind the car - how'd you choose it / get it?

The guy I bought it from grew up with my dad, so when my dad spread the word that I was looking for a cheap first car he contacted us. It was his wife's car that she used for going back and forth to work for the 7/8 years they owned it. At first I was skeptical, but around here $1200 for a good working car with low kilometers isn't common. It's grown on me over the past week and I don't mind it so much anymore.

$1200 for a 2006 is a steal if it's in decent shape.

How many kilometers/miles on it?

Only had 162 000 km and was never smoked in or ever had an animal in it. it was simply a back and forth to work car for the guys wife.

My 16 year old daughter loves her Aveo. It's a red 2005 hatchback LS. She uses it to go to high school and back as well as doing light shopping at a corner store. Bought it for $1000 and great shape. I am first to admit I love driving the car as well but then again when I was her age my first car was a 1993 Geo Metro 2 door standard. She takes really good care of it too. She babies the car and I do too.
