I have a 2005 Aveo with an A/T. The only thing I dislike about it is how rare this car is, the parts are more expensive and most parts stores don’t already have everything in stock for it, so there’s a lot of waiting for orders. Some things aren’t easy to work on or easy to get to at all, and other things can be a breeze.

All in all, I do wish I had a different car that was more common and a little easier to work on. But it seems to be reliable as hell as long as you are doing the proper maintenance on it and change the belts and hoses and things when necessary. The timing belt on ours went out at 10 years so that was a big mess to deal with.

The car was also given to us as a gift from a family member, so we just plan on driving it until either the wheels fall off or the engine blows up again.
