Lol rabbit is making some bolt on coilovers for us. that is what alot of the members here are waiting for to lower their cars.
There's not much to it if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. If not, let's hope your boyfriend or brother is. Saves you a lot of money on labor.Originally Posted by Kalos Princess

For a couple of beers and a stake dinner I’ll install them, but it will take me 24 hours driving straight through to get there.
Hey Veo, how did you remove the "A" letter? Did you just use fishing wire, or have to apply heat.
I'm thinking of removing the lettering to paint it black but not sure how to go about doing so....
thanks

Warm it up just a little bit with a heat gun or blow dryer and use dental floss. Use rubbing alcohol to remove the rest of the glue after the letter is off and clean immediately after. Pretty easy.

is it possible to do without the heat gun?.......the only heat Kalos will feel is from the FLA sun! lol
After the whole emblem ordeal, I dont want to use a heat gun anytime soon.

Use a blow dryer, you're not gonna hurt anything with that. And I'm not saying burn the thing off...just warm it up a little and floss it off. By adding a little heat you can usually keep most the glue on the badge, so that way if you ever want to re-badge it for whatever reason you just heat it back up and stick it on. Done deal.

Wolf, I think she is thinking about rebadging it since she's taking them off to paint them black. Unless she wants to paint them black and put them in her spare parts bin.

Oh, well in that case...take some painter's tape and stick over the top of the letters, apply heat, floss off, stick to a surface you dont mind painting, remove tape, paint, let dry for a few hours, replace tape, reheat, stick back on the car. The tape is the keep the letters evenly spaced.
