A little late to introductions

Hey all!

Been here for a couple weeks now and have met some pretty amazing people. Just wanted to formally introduce myself.

My name is Jakob and I'm a graphic design student. Recently bought my 2009 Aveo5 M/T after my 2004 Dodge stratus struck a couple deer O.o

Love the Aveo. Plan on modifying it out. It's going to become a bit of a pet project of mine once I am able to fund my upcoming projects XD

So far my list of modifications I would like to do goes as follows:

Upgrade sound system (A Must IMO)

Tint the windows a bit. Not too much, but enough to jazz it up. Aw Yeah

Lower the suspension and replace the tires

It probably needs a bit of suspension work because when I hit bumps at high speeds, it weaves from side to side as if it is getting out of control. Not a fun experience

Change the backlit display for the speedo from the stock green to a blue (Saw a post where someone did this and it was pretty beautiful)

Some minor tweaks here and there as I find them useful.

May even get a body kit if I REALLY get into modifying.

When you lower it you won't want a body kit. They look silly for the 2nd Gen IMO too. Also, unless you want to de-solder the LCD screen and then details solder all the little leads then you won't be able to change the gauge colors. Its way different for our 2nd Gen aveos than the write up you seen

Yeah, I was looking around for kits to see if I liked any of them and they didn't seem to appealing. Not my cup of tea. Thanks though. Any mods you recommend I could do?
