      New 2009 G3 owner

Hello all! I am a new member from St. Louis. I bought a 2009 G3 last year and came across this forum last night. I love my car (metallic black) and got a deal on it during the cash for clunkers scheme. I paid $6000 for it brand new after I traded in my Ford Ranger (which didn't work).

I'm not really looking do many mods, but I would like to somehow increase the air intake... The stock setup is way too restrictive. I'd like to add a short air ram but have so far been unable to find one. Can anyone recommend one for me?

Thanks guys, I look forward to getting to know you all!

      NYChevoo,
Huge thanks for the plug and wire info. The deal on the mint 2009 Aveo5 LT is still pending. I made an offer, but the dealer, as of today, has not accepted it. I also noticed that the 2009 with 16.534K miles is no longer on AT, but the Aveo is still listed in the inventory. Dealer is asking $11k.I would have to fly to Cincinati, rent a car and drive to Whitewater Mtrs in west Harrison, IN. Take a look, if you have time, and tell me what you think. Don't buy it!!! Driving that beauty back to KC, then later to AZ would be a pleasure, Be well!

Depending on your purchase n ur goals forgo the K&N. Build ur own intake- a 90°good bend, a 6" tube ,cone filter, and some couplers and u have a professional looking intake and will love the added throttle response,hp, and cool sound.
