I bought my 2005 Aveo LS a few days ago for $450. It has a bit over 170,000 kilometers. I bought it from an older woman who had a book with all the service history on everything she had done to the car since she bought it in 2008, She had taken absolutely beautiful care of it.

That service book with documented maintenance is worth its weight in gold! Especially considering the price you paid for the car. And that's low kilometers for the age, too!
Did it pass inspection OK?
PS: I hope timing belt replacement was in the list of maintenance. If you've read a bit of the forum, you know how common & serious a problem that can be for the Aveos.
