Hello guys, I just bought a used chevy aveo 2 weeks ago. 2009 LS model with 25,000 km on it. So far, I've been hearing a lot of bad things about the car. I'm really worried about this purchase. Does anyone have any bad experience with this model?

I have a 2009 with about 22,000 miles on it. So far I have had no major problems.

Make sure that the ignition coil has been repaired under warranty. That was the only recall that I can.. recall. But besides that my 2009 has been decent to me. The airbag light wont go out. But who needs those anyways..?

Might as well have a dealer rectify the airbag light too, while it's still under warranty. That is assuming you can find a dealer that doesn't have an unwilling attitude about doing warranty work...

The second generation gets a bad rap cuz there were a few design flaws/ cheap budget conscious decisions made by chevy in the aveos first gen. Most09 up owners are happy. Our power could be higher and the aftermarket is lacking but Icant complain too much about that I get a cosista.t 37-8the mpgs.
