Greetings all. New to the forum and I come in with a sonic rather than and aveo, but that makes us related. Always been a fan of small cars getting good MPG. That is the reason I bought the sonic. That and the fact that it seems to be easy to mod. Also belong the sonic owners forum, but joined here for a different and fresh perspective.
Welcome to the site. How are you liking the Sonic? What engine and trans did you get in yours? Also, what mpg are you getting with it?
It's a 2012 with the 1.4L and 6 spd man. I left the avg mpg fxn on the DIC for about the last year without resetting it, and it is reading currently 38.3 mpg. According to the same DIC, I've gotten just a shade over 40 mpg on trips to NC from Pa to visit my daughter driving at 70-75 most of the way. I'm impressed with both my mpg and the fun factor that the car provides.
