new to me 2005 aveo ls

im picking up a 2005 chevy aveo ls, 57k miles, all city(new orleans).

the engine compartment is spotless as the previous owner took it to the dealer every 3 months for oil changes.

the only issues ive found is the paint is peeling from the hood, off of the undercoat.

ive never owned a car before, always trucks. my last being a ford 4.6l v8.

ive ordered a k&n filter for it, what else do i need to get the best mpg for this car?

With mine, I've found keeping your rpms below 2k, and around 1.5k to maintain speed.
Drive it gentle, don't push it, and you'll get good mileage

Did you get the 5-speed or automatic?

FYI, K&N won't help with fuel economy. (And K&N itself never directly says that it will.)

auto. and ive used k&n in every vehicle ive owned.
