Red face She Will rise again Ava aka The Phoenix

Hey everybody my name is Devonte an I am the owner of a 2011 Chevy aveo. I bought the car originally for gas mileage since it was an upgrade from 97 Camry. The car was awesome up until I got in a devastating car accident where I flipped it. Luckily I wasn't injured an the car didn't receive any serious damage other than some dents in the body. It has been two years now an I'm finally able to start rebuilding her the correct way. Even with her rolling she has still been a reliable car.

Hey Devonte, welcome to the forum!

That's quite an intro! So have you been driving the car ever since the crash? How did the car escape serious damage?

I've heard of people rolling a car and suffering little or no damage... but only if they roll it into a ditch in the winter, full of fresh powder snow. Probably not a common occurrence in Arizona.

To be honest I have no idea, I'm blessed basically. All I remember is the tire blew out I spun out an then flipped. I closed my eyes because I thought I saw a tree I was gonna hit but I just barely missed it an rolled on the side. The side mirrors were broke an I had to change my tire. But the cops came an helped me push the car back on its side. An it ran fine, granite the dent in the roof but I fixed that I just have minor dents left to fix.

That's amazing. And it didn't mess up the suspension when it "dug in" and tipped itself over?

Nice of the cops to help you get you back on your wheels!
