I would say the same, gold is not a good match with orange but since there is just a bit of gold on it I think they are ok... Painting rims is a big deal, first, ur dealing with Aluminum and is hard for paint to stick to it, U can buy wheel paint at Autozone, today can paint is very good quality, having it painted in a shop would be better, having it powder coated would be best as it is the hardest finish, ur other option would be selling those rims and use the money towards another set that is the color u want.
If I ever paint my rims, it's gonna be body color. It looks better than just grabbing a vaguely similar color (like orange and gold for an example) and hoping they don't clash. To me, if the rims are painted and they don't match the car's color, it looks REALLY sloppy. My Monte Carlo is completely stock but came with body color painted aluminum rims.
thats what I'll do paint the gold silver. less work yes I'm lazy. :)
go orange.
