Hi, I'm buying a 08 Aveo Sedan LT from a local small time dealer. It's got 81k miles, standard trans, all the bells and whistles (minus ABS) and what not. Comes with a 1 month bumper to bumper warranty. I asked him to change the timing belt since I know they go early. It was probably already done considering they get changed every 60k miles, but I told him I wanted it to be safe. He isnt going to do the water pump so I might save that for later. Anyway I just wanted to know if there's anything else I should bring up. I got a carfax of the vehicle, it had one owner, and one accident, although the report shows it was successfully reinspected for 4 more years after the accident. The only problems with it that I noticed was it needs brakes, maybe struts (it was banging when going over bumps while test driving), needs a new passenger tire, and the airbag light is on.
