well i really like mine.

for me its because its the closest the to buying a "brand new" 1984 gti out there. might sound strange.
its been fun and keep me intrigued, while still fully functioning as a daily driver.

if you want the best deal for the price, search for a left over. NEW but unsold last years model. Or even a g3.
