just like the title says i went on a 150km trip to pick up a set of used tires this guy was giving away. it was raining realy badly plus i had my mom in the car telling me to slow down so i was doing 90km per hour in 5th the whole time. To my amazment i got 58mpg.

That would equate to roughly 36mpg. Which is a respectable and believable highway Mpg.

1 liters/100 km = 235.2145833 miles/gallon(US)
