      well i dont mean to come on here and be a braggster (ok yeh i do ) but as i said earlier i have been driving very frugally and right now, from a full tank, i have put 102 miles on it. i have not even reached the 3/4 tank mark yet. i feel good.


      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      i hate to rain on your parade but the first 1/4 of a tank from full to 3/4's takes alot longer on the guage then the rest of the way. ill wait to see ur results, even though u have an unfair advantage with the neo and manual

      I usually get 27-30 MPG. from what I read on this thread thats not too great but not bad. I'm gonna get a fuel injection cleaning done real soon so hopefully that will make it higher.

      thats what I use to get too but now I cant seem get below 30mpg

      yeh, i know, its like that with most all cars. but, its still pretty decent. thinkin i may fill up tomorrow tho. finally, with 135 miles onit i passed the 3/4 mark.

      filled my car up today, put on 223.4 miles and it took 5.476 gallons to fill it up and i averaged 40.7962 mpg!!

      jerk.^ lol jp, anywho, i had a couple of rough spots (hard acceleration and got anxious cus i hadnt been on the gas for a while) and sit in construction yesterday, anyway i got 38mpg combined city and hwy. it was about half and half. not happy but it works. now i my mileage will be ****ty when i put my turbo on this weekend-hopefully. can provide pics of reciepts in a day or 2.

      how are you getting high 30's and low 40's??? I'm struggling to get high 20's!!

      well i've always averaged about 33 mpg. with the last couple fill-ups and gas above $3.50 a gallon i've been babying it so much like leaving stop lights and stop signs slowly coasting to stop signs and lights, if im going down hill i'll throw it in neutral and i've kept it under 75mph on the highway. i have a shott ram intake but i dont think thats helpin very much, and im gettin rims and an exhaust put on shortly, so maybe with the exhaust it'll help a little more.

      damn how do u manage to drive that slow in ct? ive been up there a few times and I was doing like 10 over the speed limit and i still had cars flying by me.
