      On all obd2 compliant cars you do not need to clear the code. It helps determine if you made the right fix. But on almost every model, once you run 3 drive cycles without the problem, the code should clear itself, and shut off the light.

      Hi
      Make: Chevrolet
      Model: Aveo 1.5 LS
      Year: 2007/11
      Issue
      Bad idle. No Power when driving. Rev counter remains at 3000 rp/m. Engine light on.
      Customer service poor, took it in, they switched off the engine light, it ran but the engine light came on.
      Car not moving even when foot on the peddle. Switches off when I press deeper.
      Attempt at solving the problem
      1. I did an engine overhaul(Rings, bearings, cylinders, valves, valve stem seals);
      2. Replaced the sensors;
      3. Ignition coil and cables replaced;
      4. Complete service.

      Still no power.

      Engine light stays on mechanic and are stumped
