      Fuel Savers..

So..crusin eBay as usual checking out all the nifty little things for the aveo. typed in "aveo Fuel" for the hell of it to check out fuel pump prices.. (it'll go someday im sure..) any-who. all those magnetic fuel saver things poped up and the spinning intake fans just below them.. Has anyone ever tried either of those products? i was thinking bout buying the 10 dollar magnet thing to see whats up with em.. now the intake fan thing is a little more..bout 40 bucks..so that makes me leery of spending that much on something useless..(although ive done it before..haha)

as for MPG im getting about 33mpg Ive estimated..typically only able to get 9.5 to 9.9 gallons into it from the "Over full" mark to on "E" (even though owners manual says 11.9 capacity) 330 total highway miles onna full tank of 9-10 gallons. so im happy with that, but hell...everyone would be happy with MORE considering gas just went to 3.35 here at the major outfits and 3.38 at the mom&pop stations.

Anyhow, yinz got any feedback on either of these little gadgets or are they just money traps?

      Thanks guys/gals!

I will say all that type of stuff are junk like the person above me said, I remember there was so much controversy about the Tornado product that supposely you put in the intake and at the people found out for themselves that it was a waste of time and money.

The magnetic fuel saver could pull some metallic particulates out of the fuel, eventually clogging the line and slowing the flow of gas. So they would work, but not like you want them too.

Agreed all those things like that are a gimmick to get gullable people to buy them. Iam pretty sure they also all said NO RETURNS. Even now people are still trying to screw other people over....just a sign that we as mankind have failed. HAHA
