Re: this has to be a joke
while i doubt the aveo is included in this.. it is also very common for us cars to sit higher than the same model in other parts of the world. this is typical for side impact testing the us is the one with the side impact height set to suvs.. so they tend to raise cars in relation to the side beam. i believe the last generation of vw gti was raised like 19mm compared to the european version to meet that standard.
Re: this has to be a joke
Don't fall for it this will cause more harm than good all you are going to do is damage the engine. I wonder who came up with a pill for a car you are right to say it is a scam, Mythbusters proved that only the driver and the way he or she drives can improve gas mileage. Just drive the speed limit and you will be fine never run over sixty studies have shown that a car gets twenty percent less gas mileage at a higher rate of speed than going slower.

You are correct. For example the Aveo stands about 2 inches higher off the ground than the Honda Fit and the Toyota Yaris.
I don't mind it, tho. It's less likely to hit bottom on bad roads and driveways, easier to crawl underneath it, and easier to get in and out of it if you are 'on the wrong side of fifty'.

Kind of sucks for the guys like me who try to lower it... when it's lowered, it looks just the same height as other stock cars it's class  And still stits higher than any stock height integra. LOL :D I'm fine with it though (not like I have much choice in the matter). Plus the height it's at right now is really the lowest it can be, when I roll over hump getting off the road into our driveway and I stop at the highest point - it almost touches the side skirts. I've thought about cutting a full circle off my H&R springs, but this has always stopped me. 8)
